The inspiration to create this app came from a childhood friend of mine that was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when we were kids. She has a separate social media account dedicated to educate people on diabetes and she has a large following of people that look up to her. Fellow diabetics ask her questions about her experience, and that inspired me to create a social platform to connect people.
